Keynote Speaker Bio
Dr. Judith Gelernter Reisman is a Research Professor at Liberty University School of Law and Director of the Liberty Center for Child Protection. A lecturer popular for her expertise in Media Forensics, she is also a former consultant to four U.S. Department of Justice administrations, the U.S. Department of Education, as well as the U.S. Department of Health and HumanServices. She has been engaged in a lifelong battle against pornography and since 1977 has fervently exposed the fraudulent sex science of Dr. Alfred Kinsey. She holds a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Communications from Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Reisman has been an Associate Professor at the University of Haifa, Israel; Research Full Professor, The American University; and in 1990 was part of the adjunct faculty of George Mason University.Dr. Reisman has authored many books and various law review articles and has been cited in many scholarly works. Her books include Kinsey Sex and Fraud, 1990; Soft Porn Plays Hardball, 1991; Kinsey: Crimes and Consequences, 1998, 2000 and republished as Stolen Honor, Stolen Innocence in 2013; and Sexual Sabotage, 2010. She is a regular contributor to World NetDaily and Salvo magazines, among others. She has been an expert witness in many court, military, and civic hearings concerning pornography, homosexuality, sexual harassment, andmedia issues. Her works have been referenced in many lower court cases and the following United States Supreme Court cases: Oakes v. Massachusetts (1989) and Osborne v. Ohio (1989). They have been instrumental in initiating child protection legislation such as HR 2749 (Washington, D.C., 1995), The Child Protection and Ethics in Education Act, and is looking forward to finally moving such legislation forward.
A family counselor, author, and speaker, Beverly Hubble Tauke collaborates with church communities throughout the Eastern U.S., and for years facilitated workshops for homeless men and women in Washington, D.C. Author of Healing Your Family Tree published by SaltRiver / Tyndale House, she has also contributed to books compiled by hosts of Midday Connection, an award-winning nationally syndicated Christian radio program, and has authored articles published in newspapers and magazines. Her work to detox families impaired by destructive generational habits has been featured in newspaper and on radio and television programs coast-to-coast. Prior her family counseling work based at Cornerstone Professional Center in Fairfax, Virginia, Bev Tauke managed media operations in the U.S. House and Senate, taught journalism and communication in East Africa, and worked as a writer in Chicago. She currently serves on the Boards of Bishop Ireton High School, Alexandria , Virginia and Catholic Charities of the Arlington Diocese, Virginia. Her graduate education includes a Master of Social Work degree from the Catholic University of America and a Master of Arts degree in communication from Wheaton College, Illinois. She and her husband, Tom have a grown son and daughter.
