American Youth Misled

  • American youth are growing up in a sexually hedonistic  “hook-up” culture in which they are told there are no sexual boundaries…basically “anything goes,” including abortion.
Picture
  • This cultural shift toward sexual hedonism did not happen overnight. In fact, it took a few individuals and their destructive  ideas—their worldviews— to influence American culture away from  its Christian foundation. In our Christian culture:
    • virginity was valued
    • purity of mind was encouraged
    • sanctity of life was revered
    • pornography was outlawed
    • self-control  was a virtue
    • men valued women as companions and childbearers and not as sexual objects
    • sexually-transmitted diseases were not rampant
    • divorce rates were very low
    • the majority of children grew up in homes with both biological parents, and
    • human trafficking of American children was rare.

  • Today, America is a culture without boundaries, without healthy restraints and has a lack of reverence for life, marriage, and family.
  • Among the primary change agents were Margaret Sanger, the founder of American Birth Control League, which changed its name to Planned Parenthood in 1939, (see Fact Sheet link below) and Dr. Alfred Kinsey, founder of the Kinsey Institute whose fraudulent “scientific research” on human sexuality included sexual abuse and molestation of minor children. Dr. Nathanson thought he had the "solution" to the "consequence" of the sexual revolution.

  • Sanger believed in and promoted sexual promiscuity, eugenics and birth control.

  • Kinsey believed in and practiced all forms of sexual deviancy, including pedophilia.

  • The Sanger/Kinsey contagion encouraged promiscuity, pornography, homosexuality, pedophilia and no-fault divorce.

  • Their worldviews of supporting sexual hedonism undergirded the 1960s sexual revolution which ultimately increased the number of out-of-wedlock pregnancies and the perceived “need” for abortion.

  • As a direct consequence of Sanger/Kinsey's worldviews, Americans between the ages of 15-24 experience the highest number of new sexually transmitted diseases and abortions.
